Lypswitch - 30 Years CD

Self released in 2018 by the band 30 Years was a limited edition run of 500 CD's (100 in first pressing, 400 in Second pressing) that included 14 songs, 3 new songs, 6 new recordings of songs from the 80's and all the orginal demos from the 80's.

The third and final pressing is now available via World of Sin Music. This 2026 release does not include the orginal 12 page booklet but does include 6 bonus instrumental/early mixes versions of some of the songs from the CD for a total of 20 tracks.

30-Year Anniversary CD

Gang-A-Noise was formed in Los Angeles, CA, in early August 1993, rising from the remnants of 22 Saloons, Lypswitch, and Circo Union. Jon E “Blade” Palomo is the voice with Jimmy “JT” Triana on Guitar, Rich Marazsky on Bass, and Kevin “KA” Agosta on drums. At the time, the LA music scene was undergoing a shift, driven by the emergence of grunge from Seattle. Determined to make their mark, the band set out to “wreck shop” and push back against the softer, radio-friendly music dominating the airwaves. Their sound was often described as "Zeppelin meets Ice Cube," with BAM Magazine labeling it "hardcore-drunk-rap-rock." Either way, the band’s aggressive, over-the-top heavy rap-rock style left a lasting impression. The band released an independent record in January of 1995 and World of Sin Music re-released it 30 years later in 2025.

They had the usual glammed-up image that predecessors Poison, Ratt and Warrant all had, but Lypswitch’s music was more experimental and varied.

They were somewhere between pop and alternative, sometimes bluesy and moody and sometimes simply praising California life and its enticing components like girls and cars and the summer sun.
